Cancel in your HelloFresh account
If HelloFresh bills you directly, cancel from your HelloFresh account before the cutoff for the next box.
- Sign in to the HelloFresh account tied to the subscription.
- Open your plan or account settings.
- Choose the option to manage or cancel the plan.
- Follow the cancellation prompts until HelloFresh confirms the plan is canceled.
- Check whether the next delivery has already processed.
- Save the confirmation email or final account screen.
Meal-kit subscriptions are deadline-based. If the next box has already locked, the cancellation may stop future boxes rather than the order already in progress.
Pause, skip, and cancel are different
HelloFresh may let you skip a week, pause deliveries, change the box, or cancel. Use the route that matches your goal.
- Skip if you only want to stop one delivery.
- Pause if you want a temporary break.
- Change the plan if the issue is meal count, recipes, or delivery day.
- Cancel if you want recurring billing to stop.
Before you leave the account page, make sure the final screen says the plan is canceled if cancellation is what you wanted.
Keep the cutoff and confirmation
After cancellation, write down:
- the account email
- the cancellation date
- the next scheduled delivery
- the final box you expect
- any credit, discount, or refund message
- the date future billing should stop
This helps if a weekly box or charge appears after you thought the plan was closed.
