Cancel Uber One from the Uber app
If Uber bills your Uber One membership, cancel it from the Uber app or Uber Eats app. Uber's help pages say to open Account, choose Uber One, open Manage Membership, and end the membership from there.
- Open the Uber or Uber Eats app.
- Tap Account.
- Choose Uber One.
- Open Manage Membership.
- Choose End Membership.
- Follow the prompts until Uber confirms the membership is ending.
- Save the confirmation screen or email.
If the cancellation button is not visible, check the renewal timing and use Uber support from the membership help area. Uber's rider help says canceling close to the billing day may require support.
Check the renewal date first
Before canceling, open Manage Membership and note the renewal date. Uber's help material describes timing rules close to the end of the billing cycle, and some pages say the cancellation option may be limited near renewal.
That does not mean you should keep the membership. It means you should record:
- the Uber account email or phone number
- the renewal date
- the cancellation date
- the app you used to cancel
- any final access or refund message
Those notes make it easier to follow up if the next charge does not match what the app showed.
Check which Uber account is billing you
Uber One can be easy to miss if you use different accounts for rides, Uber Eats, work travel, or a family phone. If you cannot find the membership:
- check the email and phone number on the charge receipt
- open both Uber and Uber Eats
- search email for Uber One and membership renewal
- check whether a partner or promo was used
- ask another account owner if the membership is shared
Deleting the app or removing a card is not the same as canceling the membership.
Before the next renewal catches you
Canceling Uber One handles one membership. Orbit helps you keep the rest visible.
Add the subscriptions and bills you want to keep, see what renews next, and get reminders before free trials end or regular renewals are due. When you review your list, it is easier to spot memberships you no longer use and cancel them before the next charge.
People like Orbit because it is focused: no full budgeting dashboard and no bank-link requirement, just a clear iPhone app for subscriptions, trials, bills, reminders, widgets, and calmer renewal decisions.
